Across from Crume sits Ken Hand, who wrote a column called ``Off-Hand.’’ Two desks to the left of Crume is Maureen Osborne Fussell, the first woman reporter at the paper, according to longtime reporter, Ruth Buckner. Crume was the Dallas Morning News' front page columnist and humorist for more than two decades.
